Dreamer's Editorial..

Moslems around the world are definitely in a festive mood now.. 'Tis the month to be holy, jolly, and good.. People who are moslems shall undergo the ritual of fasting during daylight, in which they have to also control their emotion and behaviour..

If you live in countries where Islam is an influencing accent of social construction the I'd guess you would notice that by Ramadhan, practically the whole country goes into slow mode, since people are taking things a little easier to cope with the fasting they go thru..

Anyhoo, my photography will go on even during Ramadhan, no reason not to.. To save time and bandwidth on the blog you can see my albums online in facebook, flickr, and fotografer.net

Make sure you check them out!

I hope i'll be able to write articles related to the theme of Ramadhan..

Have a festive and blessful month!

Happy reading, everyone! :)

dance dance [de]-evolution

So Nanda and his girlfriend, Tasia as of late loves to go to the game centres, at first i was curious why.. Then i found out Tasia likes to play this game called "Dance dance revolution", for those who don't recognize the game, it's one of those musical beat games like guitar hero or rock band, but quite a lot older than those two, but instead of using your hands you gotta sync the movement of your feet with the music, by stepping on steps.. the fun begins when the rythm and beat gets faster and you gotta do combo steps, that should do you some exercise :D

The other day when i went to the mall to get some bed cover :">, i was attracted to this competition which at the time i was there it was already the finals, so i probably was awed because the ones performing was already the best.. It was a semi-professional competition for those who play "dance dance revolution".. they were simply amazing! most of them were quite young energetic girls, very kawaii laah :D

So i got interested. Does Tasia and Nanda play this good? I mean it was a plausibility, no? So i told them the next time they go down to the game centres, i wanna come, just to watch (or so i thought >,< read on..)

We went to Galeria, a mall just up north a few clicks from our house. I remember this place well since i used to keep hamsters (yes i did T.T) and this mall had a hamster kinda shop in it.. First we went to get some food, and as we're in a mall where they have KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken), we had to eat there. Dont get me wrong, it wasnt because of me, but Nanda's one of those people who is a maniac and can only eat one kind of food.. Nanda's food peeve is KFC, it was amazing how he could finish 2 whole chickens + rice + coke in 10 minutes, and usually when Nanda eats with us someplace else, he would barely touch his food.. Bizzare, eh? :D

After that then we went to the 3rd floor (or was it the 4th?) to the place where they had the game centres.. I thought we were going to go to Timezone, but apparently not. We got into this place called Game Fantasia.. It looked a little shabby and unconvincing but okay whatever, they'd know best as they play here like every friggin day --"

Tasia is pretty good at this game.. She moves quite rythimically and synchronised. Nanda is another story, from his tales I thought he'd be a superstar gamer on this, but no apparently he's still on the level beginner.. So much for being a game guru =.=;

I'm ashamed to say this, but after 1.5 hours of watching them play, and its nearly home time, my boogey night senses are coming alive.. I feel the sudden attraction of things, so i decided to challenge Adi (who also never played this before) for a "dance off".. Maybe some of the people in the game place puked at the very sight of us playing, but I couldnt care less, this is public place, I'll dance the night off and they can puke till death if they want to hahahahaha..

I hit many missess (let me correct that, 90% misses) and i got sore feet from stomping the wrong pads (instead i stepped on the steel brackets >,<).. Out of 3 songs Adi snatched 2 victories, and I lost on this nubie face-off.. I'm still convinced this is because he has a clubbing background and he had a couple more practices than me on the machine :p

I wanna try out posting a video up on the blog, so here's to save the humiliation of loss for me, a video of Tasia and Adi's duet on one of the machines in the game centre.. ^o^
