Dreamer's Editorial..

Moslems around the world are definitely in a festive mood now.. 'Tis the month to be holy, jolly, and good.. People who are moslems shall undergo the ritual of fasting during daylight, in which they have to also control their emotion and behaviour..

If you live in countries where Islam is an influencing accent of social construction the I'd guess you would notice that by Ramadhan, practically the whole country goes into slow mode, since people are taking things a little easier to cope with the fasting they go thru..

Anyhoo, my photography will go on even during Ramadhan, no reason not to.. To save time and bandwidth on the blog you can see my albums online in facebook, flickr, and fotografer.net

Make sure you check them out!

I hope i'll be able to write articles related to the theme of Ramadhan..

Have a festive and blessful month!

Happy reading, everyone! :)

my most favorite gal in the world..

30th of April is a very very special day in my family.. On this day we celebrate the birth day of my little sister, Sasha --Safira Diah Pranidhana-- She was born into this world as a healthy baby 15 years ago, in 1994. I'd like to just say that she's always been special from day 1..

As the usual brother-sister relationship, we have many squabbles, even though we're years apart, approximately a 6.5 year difference. In my young years i've had time when i'd be furious at her for rampaging my toys, there were times when i felt she just bugged the hell out of my life, and even when she broke the screen of the PSP i gave her for her birthday, and i've always said a lot of times we're never really close. That's a lie, I'm not that type of brother where i obviously show my love for my little sister, but let's make it clear here that i do, i do very much..

My dad once told me a story that on the days near my birth, a little girl with wavy hairs came to him and calling him in his dreams, that is why at the time he was very sure his first born would be a girl, which is why when i showed up, he was, like, lo! It's a boy.. (my dad used to tell me that i was born with 10 twins and he had to choose 1 to keep and he probably chose the wrong one T.T) so you can imagine how happy he was that 6.5 years later, the girl who came to his dreams finally was in his hands, held tightly. You can say this is probably divine intervention.

Sasha in her early years didnt have much hair, so she would be adorable running round as a baby with a rounded head when other babies her age already had thick hair (you know when babies walk its as if they're on invisible springs *boink boink* cuuuute ^^). She's been quite a cheery girl from the start, she had always had her moments of narcissism (i was least famous compared to her when it comes to running in front of the camera dad was holding), which stays until now.
Sasha is sometimes moody, especially now she's in her teen years, but most of the times a happy person. Now she loves to read, and much like me is addicted to the internet. In her highschool she joins the drumband crew which is quite interesting.

She and I are probably equal halves of our parents, whereas i posses the more quite side of life, and she's just a girl who loves to go wild and have fun. We have very different personalities, and yet huge similarity at the same time. We would spend hours in front of the computer playing "Sims 2" decorating the house, arguing which tv to get our sim, who our sim should date. It's a past time that i assure i get with her everytime i go back home.

This is a momentoe that I made for her on her 15th birthday, and i do pray and wish she'll lead a successful life in the future (so she can help pay my rent and stuff hahahaha). I always said to mum, i just can't imagine being an only child, i think life would be unbearable for me if i know life without the company of this small, sweet girl..

Love you, sis.. Happy birthday :)
